the coldest nights must bow to day

yes, now's the time to reach for more

yes, now's the time for holy war

against assassins and their schemes

against the killers of our dreams

press on, press on you must my friend

fight on, fight on until the end

confront the viles of fear and doubt

confront the fright that's spread throughout

too long has hope been kept at bay

too long has terror had its way

it's time for faith to stand again

it's time for dreams to rise in men
