by Vinny Chitluri (Author)
The Sai Satcharita is a bible for devotees of Sri Sai Baba, documenting His Life and Teachings. Its regular reading is an important sadhana. The author Hemadpant mentioned that he had to often stop himself from adding more stories because the pothi would become very lengthy.
After three decades of painstaking research on Sri Sai Baba's routine and history, Baba's beloved historian Dr. Vinny Chitluri has compiled and offered us a treasure of devotion through this series of additional commentaries on each chapter of the sacred text. Dr. Vinny has sourced this information after years of direct research - reading, studying, tracing and meeting the descendants of Baba's mahabhaktas, translating from Marathithe published articles in Sai Leela magazine and several other books and periodicals. This gives devotees the benefit of the combined reading of these numerous important works, something that would otherwise be very difficult to achieve. Meant to be read in conjunction with the original work, this book has additional information, more leelas and important interpretations that give devotees deeper insights and perspectives into Baba's life and teachings.
