On June 9, 2000, My Preference Hair Studio in Lockston, Colorado, opened its doors. The hairstylists have not stopped talking since. Their conversations are ones they have guarded closely for years, knowing it would be professional suicide if they ever disclosed what was told in private. What turned into a successful hair salon also became the focal point of intriguing, scandalous, alarming, and humorous stories.

Inspired by actual events, Salon Confidential allowed stylists to safely release those pent-up conversations, providing readers with entertainment while fueling their curiosity about conversations told in private.
