She created Gem Sorcery, her sensory method of crystal work, to positively empower her mind and life after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. She has a degree in political science and has studied mindfulness, Buddhism, geology, crystal healing and sound healing, drawing on these insights in her coaching work.
