Author Biography
Leslie C. Halpern loves dreaming-whether she's awake or asleep. She's an award-winning poet and the author of the "Funny Children's Poems" book series. Leslie is also the author of several nonfiction books for adults, including Dreams on Film: The Cinematic Struggle Between Art and Science, a book about sleeping and dreaming in the movies. Her published work includes more than 4,000 poems, stories, essays, articles, and reviews for magazines, newspapers, and journals. Leslie is a member of Orlando Area Poets, Poetry Ensemble of Orlando, Florida State Poets Association, National Federation of State Poetry Societies, and Florida Writers Association.
