Skull-Dug-gery on Copperhead Mountain - Paperback

by Faye Henderson (Author)

Sixty-two-year-old Ives Schnepe, PI, convinces her boss, Janene Ramsey - owner of the Jigs Up Agency - to take a case in Ives's small, northeastern Kentucky hometown, where a skull and a few mason jars discovered outside the entrance to a cave high up in the hills may mean a lot more is going on than a little moonshine operation. With the help of Ives' childhood best friend Rosa Leigh and Sheriff Blake Sheets, Ives' high school flame, Ives is determined to solve the case, even if it means she may not live to see it. In this second book of the Jigs Up Cozy Mystery series, we've gone from the agency headquarters in the Florida Everglades to the hills and caves of Three Pines, Kentucky. Yes, there's a mystery to solve that is more than a little dangerous, but it's all done with a bunch of quirky-fun characters and lots of laughs among old and new friends.PRAISE FOR FAYE HENDERSON: "I'm a huge fan of the Jigs Up Cozy Mystery series, and I'm an even bigger fan of one of the main characters - the super-feisty and super-sassy Ives Schnepe, PI. Ives makes becoming a PI at 62 y.o. some kind of wild and fabulous fun. This is her story, and it's a hoot! And, of course, there's a great mystery to solve, too!" --- D. D.
