Beverly was initially unimpressed by Skip and politely dismissed his advances. Undeterred, Skip persisted. His relentless pursuit finally wore Beverly down and she agreed to one dinner date. Dinner went well and they both agreed to pray for God's direction for their relationship. As time passed, a true friendship developed and Skip knew Beverly was the one! Currently, Skip and Beverly serve as the Married Couples' Ministers at First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Maryland.
