Author Biography
Marta Altés (Barcelona, 1982) quería explicar historias. Por eso dejó su trabajo como diseñadora gráfica en Barcelona y se mudó a Londres, donde estudió ilustración infantil en la Escuela de Arte de Cambridge. Ella asegura que fue la mejor decisión que ha tomado en la vida, y no es para menos: publicó sus primeros trabajos con gran éxito en Reino Unido nada más finalizar sus estudios y, en un tiempo récord, Altés subió a lo más alto de la ilustración internacional. Desde entonces no ha dejado de recibir premios, nominaciones y elogios por sus libros: el premio Paterson, el premio New Illustrator Honor, o el Dragón Lector de 2014 al mejor álbum ilustrado nacional, entre otros. Soy un artista, el primer libro que publicó bajo el sello Blackie Little en 2014, logró conquistar a grandes y pequeños y la colocó como una autora nacional de referencia.
