Aimee L. Franklin is a Presidential Professor in the Political Science Department at the University of Oklahoma, Norman. Her research interests are public budgeting and financial management, citizen participation, and stakeholder engagement. As a member of the Arizona Governor's Strategic Planning and Budgeting Office, she was influential in public policy development and a key actor in planning and budget reform implementation. She has professional experience in the retail savings and mortgage lending industries.
