Author Biography

Chris Pollard is a follower of Jesus, husband, father, pastor, and city movement leader. He is a licensed minister and holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling Psychology. Chris has spent years extending hope to the hurting, the poor, the prisoner, the addicted, the homeless, and the forgotten. He is the founding pastor of The Journey, a church in Spartanburg, SC, designed to reach those on the outside of hope looking in. Chris is also a catalyst for Come Closer Spartanburg, a partnership network, aimed at mobilizing and equipping people to meet the needs of their city. God has given him uncommon understanding and the needed experience to offer the right counsel to those who need to start over.
