Status Update Denied - Paperback

by Stuart Bull (Author)

-WARNING: THIS BOOK CONTAINS MILD SWEARING AND ONE VERY TAME LOVE SCENE-The much anticipated sequel to 2014's 'Status Update Required', the second entry into the Status Update series continues the story where the original left off, allowing readers to finally find out the fates of Icarus08 and Chemical_Queen...DENIAL OF FREEDOM.It started with the crackdown, a surge of digital justice that swept the world into a new age, destroying every dark spot and criminal hold out on the net. Under the ever seeing eye of the Administrators, the world reformed into a place where your online profile was everything. Then came the muted generation, people so inundated with technology that they never developed the ability to speak, and instead communicate through government approved social media sites. Online is everything now.DENIAL OF JUSTICE.For Icarus08, it's a world that holds little meaning. Falling in love with the mysterious drug addict Chemical_Queen was the last thing he had expected, but together the two of them found a measure of peace. If only the world would let them be. Dangers from the past almost tore them apart before, but against all odds they managed to survive, even if it meant thrusting themselves into the sights of an even deadlier foe. The ability to speak is to makes yourself known. DENIAL OF SELF.This time there will be no hiding. Caught between Icarus's Admin father and Peter, another of Chem's former lovers with an agenda all his own, the pair find themselves in the middle of a war they didn't even know was being fought. Everything has changed, and now an army of titan like Moderators stand between them and the one thing they've never known: freedom. To choose to fight means to risk sacrificing everything, and to face truths that neither of them want to admit. Will Icarus ever find his place in the world, especially when new found abilities provoke changes he never thought possible? And will Chem ever find the strength to confront her fear, and escape her father and all his dominion? One thing is certain though; in the end, nothing will be the same.OMEGA IS COMING.

Author Biography

With no real high level qualifications or awards to brag about, Stuart Bull hopes that no one will actually read this until he has something great to show off. A young UK based writer working out of Essex, he is ridiculously proud of his first published book and hopes this one will go on to be even better. In the meantime he'll continue to work on his plans for world domination, as well as the dozen or so other projects he has on the go at any one time. He also runs a small blog and Facebook page, and would really appreciate it if you'd check them out too. The Facebook page: www.facebook.com/statusupdaterequired The Blog: pan001.tumblr.com
