Stone's Rock Bottom - Paperback

by Donald Ramon Frye (Author), Donald Ramon Frye (Illustrator)

Twenty-years of drinking and drugging caused Stone to give up his family, friends, Army career and all material possessions, only to join the ranks of derelicts throughout the notorious skid rows of Boston, Dallas, San Diego, Syracuse and Virginia Beach. Each drink and every drug caused Stone to dwindle away until finally being sent to prison for murder! But ... not just any murder - the murder of his own brother, Ramon, whom they playfully called Rusty. "After inhaling one hundred dollars worth of crack cocaine along with a pint of Smirnoff's Vodka, I awoke from the stupor of this combination and found that my brother was dead and I was sitting in county jail being charged with his murder!" Yes, that was the defining moment when Stone realized he had truly hit rock bottom of that dark, spiraling abyss. In STONE'S ROCK BOTTOM, travel through Stone's mind to discover what happened to cause him to turn to drugs and alcohol and then experience the transformation of how Stone was able to change his stinking ways of thinking to healthy, productive thoughts and now live life on life's terms without the use of a drink or any drugs as he takes on life one day at a time.
