Our young ones, who lost precious years from their lives, who were starved of a normal childhood. Who were not allowed in their schools and were instead told that looking at a screen for hours was school. Who longed to see a smiling face from their teachers and friends, but instead had to look at half-faces all day long. Teenagers whose dates and sports were taken away, who had to have Zoom graduations or proms. College students who were forced to pay outrageous amounts of money and then be forced to live in prison cells...

In the hands of incompetent "experts", humanity suffered. In the hands of clueless governors, constituents suffered. In the hands of clickbait and social media, consumers of information fell victim to hysteria...
