Have you ever noticed the moon in the afternoon?
Did you wonder why it was out so soon?
You are not alone!
From award-winning author, N. Jane Quackenbush, comes a sweet and endearing book about friendship and our moon.
The Afternoon Moon is a comforting rhyming bedtime story that shows blissful children at play when they notice something strange ... the MOON in the AFTERNOON! The children observe the moon and wonder why it is out so early. As most children do, they think it must have snuck out. They have a conversation with the moon telling it when it is supposed to shine, but ultimately decide that they can "allow" for the moon to be out early ... just this one time! The book concludes with an entire page filled with fun facts about our moon.
This children's STEM book, beautifully Illustrated by Lynne Villalobos, is an introduction to daytime lunar observation and is the perfect addition to your children's library.
Sweet dreams are included for free with each book!
