Author Biography
Nina Plonka RN, BSN has been working in home health care for almost 20 years, working mostly with the geriatric population. However, the birth of Nina Plonka's only child, her daughter Kate remains her greatest accomplishment. When her daughter began struggling with unknown behaviors her nursing skills kicked in and reading, research and asking questions was all she did until answers were found. Writing a book was not on her radar, but if the book could help one family understand what was happening to them and seek out help then it would be worth it all. Writing the book with Kate was Nina's way of showing Kate that what she was going through was real and that both Nina and Kate's father Steven were there for her always. No matter what.
