The Pack - Paperback

by Jason Starr (Author)

From International Bestselling Author Jason Starr comes a dark, seductive psychological thriller that bends the rules of crime, horror, and noir.

Simon Burns is unemployed, on the brink of divorce-and for the first time in years, he feels alive.

After being abruptly fired from his job, Simon reluctantly becomes a stay-at-home dad to his three-year-old son while his marriage quietly unravels. Then he meets three other fathers in Central Park-Michael, Charlie, and Ramon. Confident, magnetic, and dangerously at ease with the darker side of life, they welcome Simon into their tight-knit circle.

After one wild night out, something changes.

Simon develops an insatiable appetite-for running through the woods at night, for rekindling his desire for his wife, and for devouring meal after meal of rich, bloody meat. As his urges grow stronger and harder to control, Simon begins to realize that when Michael welcomed him into "the pack," he meant far more than male bonding.

What begins as a story of masculinity, marriage, and identity spirals into a chilling exploration of desire, power, and transformation-set against a New York City you've never seen before.

Dark. Erotic. Unpredictable.

The Pack launches Jason Starr's acclaimed genre-bending thriller series.
