The Silencer - Hardcover

by Arpad Horvath (Author)

"Short-term risks, long-term gains-to me it's all the same. It's just a job, just a means to an end . . . or so I thought."

The Silencer is a cornucopia of action, humour, conspiracy and the totally unexpected. A thrill ride with twists, turns, compelling characters, and hidden agendas, and just when you think you know the answers, the questions totally change. From the supposed "last job" in Sicily to the explosive confrontation in the Oval Office, the action doesn't stop, and neither does the Silencer.

Sawyer Briggs, field agent and later director of Interpol, quit after a routine sting operation went sideways and cost one of his team members their life . . . his wife. After disappearing for a year, he reemerged as a gun for hire for anyone who could afford to pay his price. He was now known as the Silencer.

After many years and many jobs, the Silencer went silent. Disappearing for years and living a quiet life as a business owner in Texas, his Silencer years far behind, he is again called back into action by someone who can afford his price, only this time the stakes are higher, answers lead to more questions, and even Sawyer realizes he may be getting more then he bargained for. He may be getting in too deep, and the cost may be more than he can afford to pay.

After all, what is the price of FREEDOM?
