Author Biography

K. Wiley Sider has learned over the years that everyone has their own story, and that life doesn't always end up happily ever after. And in writing her contemporary novel The Things That Fall Away, she's experienced the catharsis that writing fiction can offer. Based on difficult times in Sider's own life, the story follows a woman who, facing divorce from her estranged husband, chooses to embrace life rather than run away from it. But it's not just one woman's story; as the author knows, everyone counts, and she layers her narrative with characters whose lives infringe upon and enrich one another's.

Sider lives in Maryland with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
