Cary Groner's debut novel, Exiles, published in 2011, was a Chicago Tribune favorite book of the year. His award-winning stories have appeared in publications including Glimmer Train, Salamander, Sycamore Review, American Fiction, Southern California Review, and Mississippi Review. He lives with his wife in the San Francisco Bay Area.
