The zodiac race is going to start! It's sounds exciting, but Sylvie the Sheep is also a bit scared of trying new things. Will she end up joining the race?
She faces a tough journey that will include climbing tall mountains, going through a deep dark forest and crossing a freezing river.
Join Sylvie's adventure as she learns about friendship and helping others, and that if you work as a team, anything is possible!
Little readers will find out about how Sylvie the Sheep wins her place in the zodiac, and also learn the order in which all the zodiac animals were placed in the race.
W C Jefferson's charming rhymes and T F Wister's whimsical drawings bring to life a new version of an ancient tale of how the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac came to have a year named after them.
