Furthermore, the influence of anti-feminists and the impact of visual culture tell a story of how power is made and how it is challenged. Throughout this book, students are invited to consider their relationship with feminism and to critically reflect on a position that holds true to their faith as they are experiencing it in the twenty-first century.

Author Biography

Kristen Welch, an Assistant Professor of English at Spartanburg Methodist College, is the author of The Role of Female Seminaries on the Road to Social Justice for Women, with Abraham Ruelas (2015), Deep Roots: Defining the Sacred Through the Voices of Pentecostal Holiness Women Preachers (2013), and "Women with the Good News" The Rhetorical Heritage of Pentecostal Holiness Women Preachers (2010).
