by Ava Dasya Rasa (Author)
TRANSFIGURATION, 30 Meditations Inspired by Transforming Trauma & Spirituality, offers the reader an invitation to journey the healing path of transforming trauma and to participate in the intimate mystery of post-traumatic spiritual growth. Through a series of inspirational quotes, poetic meditations, intentional invitations, and reverent reflections, all inspired by the author's clinical experience of collaborating with clients transforming trauma and rooted in her own transformational healing and contemplative spirituality, she gently leads readers through "Thresholds of Returning," or portals that give birth to post-traumatic spirituality renewal. The author points the way to living beyond our trauma tales, as we return to our authentic selves-a place of belonging.
The meditations are a blend of western psychology, relational neuroscience, polyvagal theory, somatic and attachment trauma therapies, and contemplative & mystical spirituality. They illumine the psycho-spiritual path of the transfiguration of our wounded false selves into the intimacy of our healed authentic selves that flourish beneath the numinous terrain of our soul, our embodied being.
