Taltal Levi was born in the Galilee, Israel. She graduated from Lucerne University of Arts and Design with a degree in illustration fiction and has worked as a freelance illustrator since. In 2019 she was nominated for the Serafina Young Talent Award with her picture book debut A Little Courage. Taltal Levi works and lives in Basel, Switzerland.
Achy Obejas was born in Havana, Cuba, and now lives outside San Francisco. She has received a Pulitzer Prize for her work as a journalist at the Chicago Tribune and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry, among other honors. Her most recent book as an author, The Tower of the Antilles, was a PEN / Faulkner finalist. She has translated into Spanish Junot Díaz's The Brief Wonderful Life of Oscar Wao, as well as Adam Mansbach and Ricardo Cortes' picture book Go the F**k to Sleep, among many other titles .
