The author grew up in South Carolina and Georgia, and now resides in Washington State. The sibling rivalry from her childhood is the inspiration for this story. Her previous books are Well, For Goodness Sake Little Jake and Something's Amiss With Miss Priss. She hopes to open children's minds through the imagination of books and spur a love for reading.
