Homelife challenges him unexpectedly, and he is forced to make difficult decisions to grow up quickly. Miguel must manage an overwhelming array of academic, social and spiritual challenges. His ego travels an unpredictable rollercoaster ride and eventually turns to trust in a faith that is both unfamiliar and controversial. Though terrified of failing, Miguel ultimately pursues his childhood dream, thanks to the community reminding him that he is more than capable of re-writing his life story.
