Author Biography

Sifu Cliff Au-Yeung began his Ving Tsun training under the late Sifu Wong Shun Leung, disciple of Ip Man (Yip Gai-Man), in 1981. Sifu Au Yeung traveled with Sifu Wong to give seminars in Europe on two occasions in 1990 and 1992 and was one of Sifu Wong's chief interpreters in delivering his combat theory and philosophy to foreign students. Sifu Au Yeung was a member of the Board of Directors for the Ving Tsun Athletic Association from 2000 to 2002 and is the Principle Instructor at the Ving Tsun Martial Arts Institute in Hong Kong. In 2007 Sifu Cliff Au Yeung along senior overseas representative Sifu Asiatic, founded the Wong Shun Leung Ving Tsun Kuen Hok Association of Canada in order to preserve and pass on the traditions known as the Wong Shun Leung Method (WSLVT Method).
