Working - Paperback

by Robin Merrill (Author)

They decide to put their faith into action.

That's when the yogurt hits the fan.

The congregation of New Beginnings Church is no stranger to effort-but when Pastor Adam launches a new door-to-door ministry, they are pushed to challenge themselves even more.

Esther finds out that Derek has been sleeping outside in the cold. As temperatures continue to plummet, she and Walter are forced to confront the question: what does faith require when a brother is homeless?

An overheard conversation leaves Lauren so shaken she can't sleep at night. Something is wrong in her neighbor's house. Very wrong. Others dismiss her concerns, but she can't let it go.

The more doors they knock on, the more impossibly tangled problems they discover. Is there any way God can weave all of this into something better?

Working is a heartfelt Christian novel about stepping into the messiness of real lives-and discovering that God is already there, working in ways no one expects.

Perfect for readers of Karen Kingsbury, Charles Martin, Lisa Wingate, and anyone who loves faith-filled stories of compassion, community, and the courage it takes to love your neighbor-for real.
