Author Biography

Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966) exercised a powerful influence over the Golden Age of Illustration and the direction of American visual arts. Throughout his long and prolific career, Parrish found success in every field he explored, from book illustrations and advertising graphics to posters, prints, and calendar art.
