WYOMING GHOST TOWNS, HAUNTINGS, TREASURE TALES, and OTHER BS - Paperback

by Kurt James (Author)

For years, Kurt James has been wandering the wide-open country of Wyoming-where the skies are bigger, the roads are longer, and the stories stretch just a little further than the truth.

What started as research for his Western novels turned into something more-tracking down forgotten towns, standing in cemeteries where the wind never quite stops, and listening to stories that fall somewhere between documented history... and well... other B.S.

And yes-that "B.S." means exactly what you think it does.

Known as the "Equality State"-or more fittingly, the "Cowboy State"-Wyoming holds onto its past in a way few places still do. Some of it is written down. Some of it is remembered. And some of it is passed along by folks who swear it's true... and might even convince you.

At the request of his readers, Kurt has gathered years of exploration, interviews, and firsthand research into one place. From abandoned mining towns and lonely prairie outposts to hauntings, lost treasure stories, and everything in between, this book opens the door to a side of Wyoming most people never see.

Inside, you'll find real places you can visit, stories that might make you stay a little longer... or leave a little quicker... and just enough "B.S." to keep things interesting.

Whether you're a writer, a traveler, or just someone who appreciates a good story-true or otherwise-this book belongs in your hands.

Because out here in Wyoming...the truth has a way of blending in with the legend.

And sometimes the best stories are the ones you probably shouldn't believe-but do, anyway.
