From the ashes of the Krakoan era, tech mutant Forge leads an all-new, all-different X-Force strike team!
In a fractured world, the brilliant mutant Forge uses his powers of invention to devise the only fix: a custom-made, handpicked team of mutants for off-the-books missions so dire, so integral to the fate of the Marvel Universe that there's no time to stop for permission! Forge leads Rachel Summers, Betsy Braddock, Sage, Surge and new sensation Tank as X-Force! But with increasing threats across the planet, Forge will recruit a specialist for each target: first up, that regenerating degenerate, Deadpool! But when the next world fracture is detected in Wakanda, can the team possibly stop...the Black Panther?! And things really get explosive when Nuklo brings Earth to the brink of destruction! COLLECTING: X-Force (2024) 1-5Author Biography
Geoffrey Thorne first made a name for himself as a writer in 2003 by winning Second Prize in Simon & Schuster's annual collection of Star Trek short stories, Strange New Worlds. An actor-turned-writer, Thorne has been consistently penning new work for audio, television and comics; including, but certainly not limited to: screenwriting for TNT's The Librarians, Marvel Animation's Ultimate Spider-Man, writing the comic adaptation of Knight Rider for Lion Forge Comics as well as working on creator-owned projects such as Prodigal (Thrillbent, 2013).
Born in Alberta, Marcus To has been drawing since childhood but never dreamed he would be able to do it professionally. In 2009, he made the move to Toronto; that same year, he started working for DC. In 2010, he joined the Royal Academy of Illustration and Design studio in downtown Toronto. To's Marvel credits include Black Panther, New Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men: Blue and New Warriors, but Excalibur is his longest and most acclaimed run.
