This collection of commentaries and insights comes from the author's pursuit of a stronger awareness and relationship with God through understanding Jesus and one's purpose as a Christian. The author logically describes his pursuit of knowledge of God and Jesus in his opening introduction chapter, which will connect to readers in seeking God in a rational manner. Several topics are covered in each section, centered on the book's main idea of readings to "weigh and consider" in the world today. Each titled insight blends together scripture with commentary to provide unique revelations that will prompt readers to consider the subject matter and how it affects their faith in God and Jesus. Keeping each message/insight brief, but developed enough in content to fully explain the message, will strengthen the focus on content for the readers and the characterization of true embodiment of Jesus in people. David Leatherman is a husband to his wife Dorinda, father of two daughters and a son. They have given him nine perfect grandkids; or at least he thinks they are perfect! He is employed as an owner of an insurance business. Since his marriage, he has committed his life to his family. His compelling interest is the mission field where he has been all over the world spreading the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, along with feeding and ministering to the poor people. He authored a book in 2006 called "Something to Consider". It is a classical application about understanding Biblical concepts. It has been distributed over much of the world. He and his wife have co-authored a Bible study entitled "Learning from the Master - The Prayers of Jesus".
