Author Biography

Cynthia Waring Matthews became a licensed Massage Therapist in 1976. Her basic question has always been, "What kind of thinking created that kind of body?" This was the beginning of her exploration into metaphysics and becoming a metaphysician. She continues her healing work of body and mind in Southern California. Cynthia also teaches memoir writing classes, Chi Gong, writes poetry and paints. In 2002, she married Wyn Matthews, with whom she resides in Southern California with their two dogs and a cat. Cynthia's son, Dr. Russell "Hesu" Whitten, is a successful chiropractor in Santa Barbara.
