He has also made guest appearances on many television shows, including Gunsmoke, Walker, Texas Ranger, Law & Order, Scrubs, and Entourage. Busey was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in The Buddy Holly Story. He lives in Malibu, California.
