I really enjoyed bringing this character Cheetah, to life. It's a simple imaginary story with tremendous meaning. I love showing children that "make believe" is okay. I think it encourages a child's creativity in many ways.
I've been writing for 20 years, with 19 books published. Almost all are children's books. A new category is Young Adult books, which have been a true challenge.
I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Scott, and we have one talented son, Ryan. Both support me tremendously.
Living in two completely different parts of the world-Lake of The Ozarks, Missouri and Nueva, Mexico-really nourishes my imagination. I love the wildlife in both places and write about "the little critters" from each place.
