Her first book of poetry focused on the city she loves, My New York: City Poems (Houts & Home Publications LLC). Many poems also appeared in the QNEWS and Q Review (Quest Lifelong Learning) as well as the Westbury Word (The Westbury Senior Living). Her books for children include Country Colors, City Colors (Houts & Home Publications LLC) and Look! I'm Growing Up (Standard Publishing) co-written with Marilyn Knoepfel. Betty currently resides in Columbia, Missouri, near her loving family.
