Author Biography
Steven F. Dansky, publisher of Christopher Street Press, has been an activist, photographer, and writer for more than fifty years. He was a founder of the Effeminist Movement and an original member of Gay Liberation Front. Now Dare Everything: Tales of HIV-Related Psychotherapy and Nobody's Children: Orphans of the HIV Epidemic, his books on the HIV/AIDS epidemic were critical early responses to a global health crisis. He is a frequent contributor to the Gay and Lesbian Review. His photographs have been exhibited in New York and Las Vegas. He had a psychotherapy practice in New York for 15 years.
