Author Biography

Desta Barnabe was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada where she continues to live with her beloved Australian cattle dog, Berg. She and Berg love taking long walks in the forest near her home. Also part of Desta's 'family' are many international students to whom she provides room and board in her home while they study in Canada. Desta believes that her true mission in life lies in helping other reach elevated states of consciousness and heal physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. To that end, she has spent most of her adult life studying numerous forms of energy work and healing modalities. Most recently she studied and now practices dowsing for personal health and healing of the home; Dolores Cannon's technique for regression hypnotherapy known as Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique; and Reiki. Desta loves travelling and particularly when her travels take her away from the frigid Winnipeg winters and she especially loves Ireland, its people, and its magical lands. Her travels also take her throughout Canada and the U.S, to attend conferences on healing as well as UFO's, another of her abiding interests.
