In 1926, Katherine Olmsted resigned from the nursing profession and enrolled at University Sorbonne, Paris to earn Le Cordon Bleu Cuisine Diploma. She then headed home to the U.S. to start a new career as chef and restaurant owner. This book takes a look into the life of a nurse during a remarkable time in history and is a tribute to Katherine Olmsted's resilience.
