Author Biography

Lucie Duclos is the author of The West Coast Coloring book and co-author of The Pacific Northwest Coloring Book. She lives in the coastal town of Port Townsend in the Pacific Northwest. She grew up speaking French in Montreal, Canada then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and worked as a graphic designer and illustrator in packaging design and for fashion and home décor magazines. She loves living on the West Coast and taking ferries and being surrounded by islands and water and snow capped mountains. Lucie is also a surface pattern designer and a mixed media artist. She works with any medium from beeswax to collage, and watercolor to acrylic, but her husband thinks it's really just an excuse to buy more art supplies.
