Thursday, December 15, 2016, I experienced the sudden, shocking, and unexpected sudden death of my beloved husband of more than 37 years. I left our home that morning with my husband by my side, a happily married woman, and I returned home alone a grieving widow.

Thursdays were dreaded days for a very long time and a reminder of my loss. But throughout my experience, God was immediately holding me and drawing me near to him in many ways giving me hope through dreams, songs, visions, and supernatural encounters, even seeing Gary in heaven.

This book is for anyone who is grieving or has suffered a loss of any kind, and a reminder that God is always there with you especially in grief. He is powerful and mighty. He is aware, and he cares so much for you. He will show up and show out for you when you draw near to him and listen to his voice. I am so grateful for his comfort, strength, and love throughout this time of loss, grief, and transition in my life. My prayer is that you too will reach out to him through prayer, conversation, and worship.

Let him touch your life in a mighty way. God still has wonderful plans for your life and wants to show you if you will let him.

Ladena Jackson was born and raised in Texas where she currently resides. She was married at an early age and traveled as a military wife for 13 years. She has two children and many grandchildren that are the loves of her life. She currently practices nursing and has done so for more than 26 years.
